Indian Institute of Technology Delhi ( IIT Delhi)
Indian Institute of Technology or IIT Delhi or IITD is one of the best institutes for engineering of India. This is one of the top notch engineering schools in all over Asia. IITD was founded in 1959.
The IITD campus is in Hauz Khas of South Delhi. The 320 acre campus is surrounded by the beautiful pieces of architecture like the Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple. The campus is almost like a mini city with gardens, lawns and residential quarters.
You should have to clear the IIT Joint Entrance Examination to get admission to this prestigious institute.
IITD is the 218th University in the world ranking and 36th in Asian ranking. According to the government survey it is the 3rd best engineering collage of India.
Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT)
IGIT is a women’s engineering college. It was established in 1985 to promote technical education among the girls in India.
There are four branches of engineering in it : Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering and Information and Technology Engineering
It offers B.Tech, MCA and M.Tech. One can do Ph.D from IGIT. Students are taken by a common entrance test (CET) conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi (SPA Delhi)
There are 3 SPAs in India. Another two SPAs are in Bhopal and Vijayawada. It was started in 1941. It is a deemed university. The campus is in Indraprastha in New Delhi. This collage is famous for its library which is the best in Asia for Architecture with a collection of 66,000 books.
This is an Architecture college and there is no core engineering courses here.
Delhi Technological University
Delhi Technological University (DTU or DelTech) was previously called as Delhi College of engineering (DCE). It was established in 1941. DTU offers B.E., B.Tech, M.tech, M.E. and M.B.A.
One can get admission to the B.E. of DTU after ranking in AIEEE exam. It is one of the top 10 collages of Delhi.
Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology
Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) was established in 1983. It was formerly named as Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT). The admission to the bachelor of engineering is done through the AIEEE exam and a PG admission is done through the GET exam.
Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research
This institute was established in 2001. It has 8.5 acres of land at Geeta Colony. This institute is for Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering students.
Jamia Milia Islamia, Faculty of Engineering and Technology
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in 1985 in Jamia Milia Idlamia, the cenral University. Besides engineering courses this faculty offers Bachelor of Archeology course (B.Arch).
There are M.Tech programs too. There are also Polytechnic diploma courses.
Amity School of Engineering and Technology
Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) is a private engineering collage. ASET only offers 4 yeas B.E. courses. The students of this collage designed a Baja Vehicle and the tri fuel Amity Hybrid car.

HMR Institute of Technology and Management
HMR was set up in 2003. HMR offers 4 years B.Tech courses in ECE, CSE, IT, MAE and EEE.It also offers two years full time MBA courses.
Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering
BVCOE is situated in Paschim Bihar, New Delhi. It is under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The entrance to this college is done through GGSIPU common entrance test.
