There are various types of covers and cases are readily available in the market but these are too pricey. Moreover, you cannot customize them. In this easy and simple process you can design your own iPhone covers according to your choice.

This project of making a colorful iPhone covers is not that cheap and not that tough too. It needs not too much skill too. Anyway this project is not exactly about cover making, you can call it cover designing too. It is because you need to have a clear cover to begin with which will be transformed into a great, colorful one.

END RESULT: A COLORFUL CUSTOM DESIGNED iPHONE COVER

Stage 1

Buy a normal clear cover for iPhone. Any cheap clear cover will be enough. You may choose with different models and brands. You can buy a iPhone 4 or 4S clear cover from eBay at very reasonable price.

Now buy some Scrapbook paper. A couple sheets will be sufficient.

Stage 2

Keep the iPhone cover on the backside of the scrapbook paper.

Now draw an outline of the cover on the paper using the pencil.

Now you need a pair of sharp scissors.

Cut the paper carefully around the outline.

Using the cover again and again cut the shape carefully to match exactly with the clear cover.

Now draw the camera hole on the shape.

Cut the hole using an Exacto knife.

Stage 3

Now using the cut piece as a template you can create as many covers as you choose from other scrapbook papers. Different colors and designs will be chosen according to your choice. It will give your iPhone a festive look.
