Where is Madagascar?

The Republic of Madagascar is a big island. It is in the east coast of Africa. Madagascar is surrounded by the Indian Ocean.

A Story of Friendship and Homecoming

The movie opens exactly where it was ended on the prequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. But the family which Alex has found in this movie is not to be found here.

The Penguins has gone to Monte Carlo and the animals escaped from the zoo has gone there to find the four penguins. The penguins have gone to a casino and there they have won a large sum of money. They also attract the attention of Capitaine Chantel DuBois. Frances McDormand provides the voice and crazed energy of the out-of-control animal-control officer who wants a lion for her overcrowded trophy wall. After some events in the hotel the group of animals were noticed by Capitaine Chantel DuBois. This is the villain of the piece. She is the villain of the piece. Her wall is crowded with animals trophy. He badly wanted to have a lion’s head there. That is why he tried to kill them, especially Alex the lion. Afterwards, what happens is multiple gorgeous and funny scenes of chasing and escaping.

The group of animals from Alex the lion to the lemurs is depicted superbly. The human voices are matched with the flow of the movie. But the real attractive character is Captain DuBois. Every action and the voice suggests the lust in her to hang the heads of the animals from her home’s trophy wall. But all his actions fail in vain.

Madagascar Ends Happily like any Good Children's Film

The film shows the character’s plan to make a circus successful. A circus fully owned by the animals. It is the penguins who have bought the circus. The circus fails miserably in the first show. But the animals led by Alex the lion determines to do something better next time.

The climax scene is superbly done when the operation “Afro Circus” is done by the animals to rescue the captured four Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria. DuBois becomes helpless among the show of live circus among her ranks.

The story has a happy ending as the children’s films tend to do. It shows the value of friendship and companionship. The comic scenes are marvelous and really worthy of getting loud chuckles.

Critics about Madagascar

The film Madagascar 3 or “Madagascar: Europe’s Most wanted” has generally gained praise from the critics. But Lou Lumenic of New York Post has attacked the movie saying, “What might be barely tolerable in a seven-minute short gave me the biggest headache since Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”

According to Jannie Punter of The Globe and Mail:

“Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is all about speed and razzle-dazzle, building to an eye-popping, over-the-big-top finale that leaves you wondering what they could possibly do for an encore.”

According to Jenny the themes of friendship and homecoming are completely overwhelmed by the high speed action scenes of the movie “enhanced by frequent sprays of candy-coloured circus action and the gravity-defying 3D treatment, which should probably come with a motion-sickness warning”.

Rob Voux of Mania.com is in good favor for the movie. He has commented that this film is the best of the series and it also shows the promise of a next part.
