Your Chance of Getting Called for the Interview

Swadesh Sharma, 27 wants to know his possibility of getting called for the personality tests. He scored 155 in the exam out of 250. No doubt, the same question is in the mind of thousands of successful candidates: “Will we be called by any bank for interview?”

Job chance for ibps clerk exam passed candidate depends on many thinks. The most important factor of getting called for an interview is your score card. The bank will choose 4x more candidates than their vacancy, i.e., if any bank declares 120 clerical vacancies then they shall call 480 applicants for interview.

If you do not get the call in the first application do not get disheartened. You can have a better luck next time. With every advertisement of vacancies the competition also will be lowered. To be selected for the final interview you should have to rank within 80,000.

The result of the secondary and higher secondary is also important. It would be better to have 65%+ marks in both.

How Much Score in IBPS CWE Eam is OK?

Your score card is very important for being called for the interview and finally getting the job of a clerical cadre in 19 prestigious nationalized banks of India. There is no fixed minimum number for short listing the applicants. It depends on the number of vacancies, applicants and the average scores of the applicants. Though here is a roughly estimate prepared by the experts:

Minimum Marks Needed for Short Listed for Personality Test

Number of Vacancy: 1000+

Gen: 145-150

OBC: 135-145

SC: 125-130

ST: 115-120

But if Number of Vacancy <500

Gen: 170

OBC: 150-160
